Gloria began painting as a child, fascinated by color relationships and prospective as early as third grade. However, her venture into professional art did not come for 30 more years. Workshops with many prominent artists and classes through Brevard College in Cocoa, Florida, helped refine her skills. Now she is affiliated with several galleries in New England, has won numerous awards and is recognized as one of Maine’s prominent watercolorists. She also works with oil, acrylic and mixed media.

Gloria’s work can be found in private and public collections worldwide including: three large oil paintings as the frontspiece for Christus St. Catherine Health and Wellness Center, Katy, Texas; two large oil paintings purchased by Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and a large oil painting created as the centerpiece for the dining center at Brookwood Community, Brookshire, Texas. Her many watercolors, which have been deemed “peaceful”, are hanging in several other hospitals and public buildings.
